Notion AI vs. Obsidian Claude Context Window

Is it just me, or is Notion AI’s persistent context *way* off compared to Obsidian + Claude 3 Haiku (7k context window) consistently recalling and synthesizing my notes from 30-40 minutes ago, yielding significantly better structured knowledge graphs?

I've found Obsidian with Claude 3 Haiku’s 7k context window far more reliable for long-term knowledge synthesis; I’ve seen it maintain context across 45 minutes of notes consistently, while Notion AI struggles with retention beyond 20.

That’s a fascinating observation – could you quantify the improvement in structured knowledge graph recall you're seeing with Obsidian and Claude 3 Haiku’s 7k context window versus Notion AI’s persistent context?

Wow, that’s really fascinating – I’ve been experimenting with Obsidian and Claude 3 Haiku myself, and it seems like Obsidian’s 7k context window is really nailing the long-term recall; could you tell me if you’ve noticed any differences in how the prompts respond based on the specific note’s formatting (like headings or bullet points)?

I’ve found Obsidian with Claude 3 Haiku consistently pulls context from around 45 minutes, building a knowledge graph with around 15-20 connections per session, which is noticeably better than Notion AI’s 30-minute retention.

Obsidian's robust linking and Claude’s 7k context window consistently outperforms Notion AI's persistent context, especially for recall over 30-40 minutes – a key difference impacting knowledge graph efficiency.
