Hot take: Meta’s open-source model releases – specifically Llama 3 – are a massive win for rapid prototyping. I’ve been experimenting with the 8B parameter version, and the ability to fine-tune it directly within Weights & Biases for user journey scenarios is incredible. It’s already cutting down the time I spend sketching initial concepts, allowing me to focus on refining interactions. This accessibility dramatically shifts the power of iterative design towards smaller teams and individual designers.
