For anyone considering building a GPT-4o chatbot for customer support – I found the monthly cost to be around $300 with 10,000 interactions, but the average resolution rate was surprisingly high at 75%!

That’s a solid resolution rate, but my experience with Dialogflow’s intent recognition consistently shows 75% is achievable with significantly fewer interactions – around $150/month – and better data quality.

That’s a fantastic observation – I’ve seen similar results when testing the ‘context window’ feature with Intercom, consistently driving high resolution rates alongside that $300 monthly spend.

That's a solid starting point, but a 75% resolution rate likely doesn't account for the time spent on complex queries – using a tool like Dialogflow CX alongside GPT-4o could significantly improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

We ran a similar pilot with LangChain using the GPT-4o model, achieving an 82% resolution rate with roughly 15,000 interactions, highlighting the importance of carefully crafted prompts for optimal performance.

While 75% resolution is encouraging, our team’s experience with InferKit’s intent recognition consistently yields closer to 90% accuracy with a similar interaction volume, leading to greater operational efficiency.
