Controversial but… OpenAI’s new pricing structure, particularly the tiered system for GPT-4 Turbo, feels unnecessarily complex and potentially punitive for consistent users. Moving to a per-token model, especially with the 32K context window now costing $1.30 per 1,000 tokens, could significantly increase operational costs for businesses relying on extensive data processing. I’m concerned this shift will disproportionately impact smaller developers and those who haven’t yet transitioned to the newer GPT-4o models.
