AI, Junior Devs, and Shifting Roles

PSA: Thinking about whether AI like Stable Diffusion XL 1.0 will replace junior dev jobs… I don’t think it’s about *replacement* entirely, but about shifting roles. The ability to generate simple UI mockups with Midjourney V6’s prompt weighting system is getting incredibly sophisticated – I just created a basic e-commerce landing page layout in 5 minutes! It’s more likely we'll see junior devs handling tasks like prompt engineering, data validation, and user testing, freeing them up for higher-level problem-solving.
